Don't get offended at the Word of God. Let the Seed of the Word fall on the good ground!

I'd like to share with you the importance of becoming good ground for the Word of God.

Read the Parable below:

Matthew 13:18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

The Word of God is a seed that is designed to produce Kingdom results in your life if it is planted into the good ground. Your heart is the ground. What kind of heart you have will determine the kind of results you get. If your heart is bad you can't blame bad results or a lack of Kingdom results on God or the Seed (The Word). The seed IS NOT CORRUPTED. The Seed (the Word) will accomplish what it was designed to accomplish. You have to do your part as the ground and not get offended.

1 Peter 1:23 ...having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever...

Isaiah 55:11 My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it.

The Word is a seed that will accomplish what it was designed to accomplish. Stop getting offended at the Word and start receiving it, applying it, and working with it. Get ROOTED and GROUNDED in it and you will see amazing results.

Colossians 2:7 Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him, established in the faith as you were taught,

Today as you go through your day, believe that: Healing is yours. The Blessing is yours. Freedom is yours. Deliverance is yours! Receive the SEED of the Word and let it produce for you!

Until the next time, keep living by faith,

Doc Murphy
